I answered your post on CL but would be happy to answer it again here if you would like. I would check out "stealth cords." I purchased one for my 9500xi and used the DIY on CL to install it. Took 10 minutes and looks great! 
wiring radar detector
Hello all, I just received my 2008 IS-F today. USB/black. I was wondering if any of you guys are hard wiring your radar detector and how you are doing it? I was hoping to use INVISICORD with my Escort 9500ix but the plug is not exposed in the back of the rear view mirror like most cars. Any help would be great appreciated.
