I've never tried to put second-hand tires on my cars. Winter tires are not that expensive, so it will be preferable to buy a brand new set. I use Pirelli Winter Ice Zero FR tires if that helps. I bought it during the Black Friday sale on 4wheelonline and I am impressed with the high level of control and stability that it provides on the snow.
