This may be a bit off topic but, how long would a tire need to sit, unmoved, in the winter, to be at risk for developing a flat spot?
Is this even a risk with current technology?

I tend to have my 'fun' cars sit over winter and always worry about this.

Thanks!

It really depends on the tire. If it sits for a few days, even a few weeks at low temps, it will develop a flat spot, however after a few miles of driving it will usually go away. If it sits for months w/o moving at all, thats when you will have a problem.
Guess I will have to get it out to stretch when the weather breaks!

Thanks
