How much more power does the ISS track system make compared to the JoeZ?
I would say the gains are the same....

Here are my Independent Dyno Results.. 22-39 RWHP... ;)

PTS / Joe Z IS-F True Dual Exhaust RWHP Gains

~ Released & Debuted @ SEMA 2008 Las Vegas ~

- As a disclosure to ALL, our Best Pump / Fuel choice is only 91 Octane for our IS-F, here in Southern California.

Below is the Dynojet graph of ALL the 6th Gear Runs with the New Exhaust System installed...

This independently tested system, included Two properly tuned resonators & mufflers for optimal performace gains while retaining the ultimate Lexus experience.

Base / Stock Dyno test was 333 Rwhp & 336 Rtq

Run 11 (361.8 Rwhp / 356.4 Tq) = 1st run after initial setup and safety test spin on the dyno
29 Rwhp Gain over stock

* Run 12 (354.8 Rwhp / 353.8 Tq) = 2nd run, which is right after the 1st run.
This run best represents normal operating temps.
This is the run we used to compare with the base numbers.
* 22 Rwhp Gain over stock

Run 15 (371.8 Rwhp / 357.2 Tq) = 5th run which was the last run.
This was just after the two 5th gear runs and a 5 minute shut down / cool down of the engine...
Best numbers of the day due to cooling period.
39 Rwhp Gain over stock

Hey Joe on that first and the last run there is a power spike. I don't think that really counts. Also I don't see a CF of smoothing 5 ether.

What dyno are you using?

Janoy
LoL Janoy,

What’s your definition of a power spike or what really counts?? "Cool Down" Engine Dyno Runs??

Fact is we released the exhaust to the public with the "normal operating temp." Dyno number gains.
Which is 22 Rwhp...

The gains have been proven repeatedly, by those who purchased a system and dyno'd on their own.

The shop uses a Dynojet, the graph is plotted SAE Corrected with Smoothing set to 5.
Which is exactly how I have been dynoing IS's since 2002 on this Dynojet ..

No I understand that.... I mean the power spike at between 5500 and 6000 RPM.
The 6th gear dynos @ 170mph is what caused the dyno graph to be choppy or "noisey" as they called it.
It doesn’t affect the numbers but makes the graph look messy.
This particular Dynojet, gets noise interference in the graphs at these ridiculous high speeds.

The power differences were based on cooler engine temps.. :D

We did not have the "noise" in the graphs when we used 5th Gear..
However, Torque suffered a bit when the wrong gear is used for this car.

Yeah the same thing happen to me that why I was asking. Dude try going to a newer dyno or ask the guys at SP to update the software and the number might look better. That S**t was killing me cause I wasn't able to reproduce results.

On the new dyno there were no problems going over 170 so the results were consent.
I hear you bro.....

They normally don't need to use 6th gear or 170mph for that 1:1 ratio on other cars.
But, thats just how the F is.

I was happy with the R&D graphs because I knew the numbers were SOLID..

We also have this pretty graph too...(idependent owner dyno)

Did you like the way we did the numbers

1 With the motor at temp and sitting on the dyno at Idle for at least 10min

2 Back to Back runs so the motor was under stress from the last dyno run... No in between cool time just one run after the other

3 10 Min Cool Down to see max power out of the car

I thought it would be nice to see every condition possible so people can know real numbers.
Yes, nice to spread out the testing...

We pretty much had the same results.. 22 Rwhp at normal operating temps and 39 rwhp gain after a 5 minute engine shut down..

Can't wait to get to the track out here once the weather finally cools down!!

After going through all these headaches we decided to purchase our own Dyno and it should be installed soon. We are going to test everything on the F... From different filters to Air Boxes and hopefully we will get the SC kit made for Spalts car and will have a nice graph to show for that.
Sounds exciting!!!!

I am sure we will see each other at SEMA.

We are releasing some products in the Lexus venue this year.
