I have an 08 ISF loaded with only 946 miles.... Selling for $49,950.... color mercury metallic. This car is perfect and always stored in my air conditioned garage. If you are looking for the very best, here it is!...... Even has factory ordered Ipod connections. Not a scratch.
This beats a new price of $62k plus taxes, dealer fees, etc.
Private owner with two many play toys in my seven car garage.

No brassknuckles used in the purchase! HAHA! As far as "Stratos's" comment regarding pricing, I think $49k is too high for 10k miles. The price offered by "Old$parts" for his IS-F ($49K with only 1k miles) is a great one!

I don't want to say that your not getting that price, but I am going to say I see no reason to sell a Brand New 2009 IS-F at no profit. 2009's are very hard to come by, and production will not resume till May. Where are you located? In the Central Region, there are not Special Rates on the IS-F, unless it's a Certified Pre-Owned. I know talking to other dealers around me, we have seen selling them at MSRP or VERY close to MSRP on the 2009's.

i really doubt a dealership is going to not have a profit on a high end high priced car.

there is a huge margin that many people dont know and are forgetting. make less of an item and add just a few luxury items, charge 5x more than it should, and promote the hell out of it, people will pay.

there are real test and surveys done.
people will pay more just because they believe its better, not because it is but because they feel it is.

if people feel they got a great deal then thats all it needs for an awesome deal.

i love how marketing works. :D

I don't know what current offers are, but a couple months ago I got my new 08 ISF for more than 13k below MSRP.

They only scaled it down by 25 cars total. Considering overall Lexus sales are down 41.6% for the 2009 year and 36.1% for the IS model itself id say that scaled down production isnt going to matter and there will actually be more 2009 models sitting around waiting.
I might consider another one if the prices ever get to where i feel the car is worth it. Used ones are selling for more then what you can buy a new one for thats kinda sad people are that upside down in these cars. That says more to me then performance numbers.
Most i would pay new for one right now is $45K (which can be done if you look enough) most i would pay used is $40K which doesnt seem to be able to be done right now. Cheapest used ive seen lately is $48K.
