What i miss

Although i love my new ISF, there are a few things i miss from my previous car(350z) and wish the ISF had.
1. Digital speed display
2. Birds Eye(Perspective) map view

Is there any way to get them on this car?

Anyone in Austin drives one?

Thanks,
Preetham

Congrats on your IS F and welcome.

The only way to get a digital speed display is if you find an aftermarket external speedo. As for the birds eye view on the nav, it's not available on Lexus navigation systems unfortunately.
Glad to have you on board! There are so many great things about the IS-F that I'm sure you'll forget about what you miss on the Z, in time. :)
Hey Preetham, welcome aboard. I drive one in Austin and finally saw another just a couple of days ago. It was blue and was coming from Freescale. Was that you?

Tom
Welcome to the site and congrats on the F!! What color did you purchase?

I also am driving one around Austin and have seen only one other F in town, a black one :)

Like Flipside said, we cannot get the birds eye view on nav and one would need to install an aftermarket digital speedometer that digital
I drive a Matador Red..i did see a blue one parked downtown a few weeks ago.
Tom, Mike..Good to know there a couple of fellow entusiasts to watch out for in Austin. I live on Parmer..close to freescale.

I fell in love with the car after i took it for a test drive along 2222...loved the suspension and the 8 speed. Can't wait to get my new radar detector.

Nice to see an active community online.
You'll need the detector. Escort 9500i is a good one. Welcome to the site!
welcome, i don't really like the birds eye view, its weird my cousin has has the g35 and not really a fan, but most of my cars are the same as the isf, which i like but you would probably have to change the entire console if you are looking for that!, the digital display no clue about, but welcome to the forums go look at the modifications forums i got valentine 1 installed costumed in the rearview mirrior

If you decide you want an Escort radar detector, let me know. I am a dealer for them!

I know what you mean. I had a silverstone 350Z that I traded for the IS-F. There are still some things I miss about it :p

I'm down south near mo-pac and william cannon :) There's a few other Lexus guys trying to get a meet going off 183 sometime soon, I will keep ya'll updated  The car is a blast to drive anywhere in town imo.

What detector are you getting?

I am getting the V1.
I love the hardwired to the Mirror..that jctheplayer888 did.

Thanks BigMike...sounds like fun..do let us know when y'all plan to meet.
there's very little of what i miss from my 350z... Space is definitely not one of the things i miss... How many other people in here owned a 350z before this car? It almost sounds like this car is the next step up from the 350z (besides the GT-R)
welcome and congrats.
