Maybe Flipside can help... Is the windshield, particularly the rear, made of thinner substance (therefore lightweight) compared to the other IS models? I think it is as it sounds pretty much like that of the Subie STi Spec C, when you knck on it. I always wanted to ask if anyone else noticed.
That's false.

Angle of the windshield and luck is key to windshield chips/cracks.

I've had my ISF windshield replaced already. Luckily my insurance company replaced it with OEM Lexus glass.
