Hello everyone I just bought a black 08 ISF and im looking to Do the intake, headers, and exhaust. I was wondering which exhaust was the least loud and but sounded deep still. I appreciate all the help.

What is the most popular synthetic oil to use in the car. I dont care about price of it if its whats best for the car.

Thanks.

To my knowledge, there are 4 exhaust systems available for the F:

- JoeZ
- HKS SSM
- ISS Forged
- Borla

From what I gather reading different threads about each, Borla is probably the "quieter" one out of the bunch, followed by JoeZ, HKS, ISS? something like that.

in terms of the exhaust note, I'd suggest looking up youtube videos and hear it for yourself. Everyone got a different taste so it's hard to speak for you as to what a "deep" exhaust might sound like.

I haven't changed oil on the F yet, but when I do I will most likely use mobil 1 synthetic oil which seems to work great on my IS300 and is readily available.

thanks.

Also i had a quick question on the sikky headers. Do they ever come loose or rattle loose over time? Ive herd of this happening to some cars when you change to aftermarket headers.

You may want to hold out on the headers for awhile. There are a few other companies working on developing headers as we speak. Sikky had a number of customers unhappy with their headers for various reasons.
Do you know what the name of the companies that are working on headers for the isf? Any idea of when they will be released?

Thanks for all the help
As far as I know the quietest is the Suruga Performance one
Then comes the HKS but it is only a muffler for now
then for the cat back ones I would say
Quietest > ISS street> JoeZ > ISS race > Borla > loudest

PPE Engineering is working on one... there is a thread on here about it.
Where do you find the iss forged exhaust systems? Everytime I search on google I find a website with the rims. Can someone post me a link to them.

thanks
That is the same company. There is no dedicated website for the exhaust.

Agreed... i dont think the HKS is quite at all. Joe Z with cats is the way to go with daily grind
I found one more exhaust from SRT... not sure how it ranks up to the rest.

I would agree that the Suruga is the quiestest, followed by Borla and then JoeZ, and finally ISS Forged. Just my opinion.
Even if the SRT exhuast is the quietest, I do not recommend getting that exhaust (or the intake). Joe Z exhaust sounds nice and not too loud once it settles in. :)
Would the car be much louder if i put after market headers on along with the joe z exhaust?

thank you
