Went to the track for some drag racing tonight

posted this on CL too thought I'd share here too :)

So tonight was my first time ever drag racing at a track. I was in my 08 IS-F with a Joe Z intake, Joe Z exhaust, and an AFE filter. I also had the open flap mod and charcoal filter delete. I had a 1/4 tank of gas (az 91 octane) and I was on 255/35/19 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires in the rear. The spare tire/jack/tools were removed for the runs. Everything else was left as is. I was in manual with sport mode, traction and VSC off via long button press not the pedal dance.

Track was speedworld motorplex in AZ, Elevation 1470 Weather conditions at the time was Temp 65.7F with 50% Humidity and pressure 29.87 in. DA was 2447 ft

My best time of the night was [email protected] with a 2.12 60ft time. Here are the time slips from my 3 best runs, yes I know my RT was off on my best run but I was by myself :p. Any comments/suggestions?

Hmmm...I don't have much experience with density altitude calculations, but my guess is that would be a corrected time of about 12.60-12.65 with a DA of 0 Ft. Anybody else? ...is that about right?
Hit up Caymandiver if you have questions on how to quicken your time. He has the fastest ISF 1/4 mile that I have seen with a 12.20.

According to drag times it says [email protected]

Yeah he posted a comment over on CL. I need to get some nice sticky tires and try again but overall I'm happy :)
