Welcome Discount Tire !!! Now update the site so you show the 2008 IS-F's !!! Do you carry the replacement tires for us?

I assume there's no problem changing stock brands of tires on the IS-F? What I mean is my car came with the Bridgestones on it and at my first tire change, I'd like to put a set of Michellins on it instead.

Does anyone know if this is any problem? I would think not, but I'm not a tire/wheel expert, and would appreciate the feedback. I'm thinking the wheels are exactly the same no matter which of the two brands of stock tires our cars were fitted with, but I just want to be sure.

Not at all!! Actually Michelin is a better tire for this vehicle,looks better too! Right now the Bridgestone tires are on national backorder (AS OF 06/09/08) so if you need tires Michelin is the way to go. Good luck !

Had a chance to spend several minutes speaking with

the very nice Michelin factory Rep at the Lexus Performance Driving Academy out at Fontana a couple of weeks ago. They really worked hand in hand with Lexus in developing their tire for the IS-F.

Not sure how many of you know that there are actually two different tread compounds used in their tire. One on the inner 1/2 of the tread and one on the outer 1/2 of the tread as the tire sits flat. They had to get these two compounds to melt together during the MFG process and to wear evenly even though they heat up at two different rates... Amazing stuff which all goes to make all of our IS-F's even that much more unique and how detailed Lexus was in designing this smile making machine!
