Hey all,

I was just wondering if there was any way to start the IS F and then lock the doors with the key with you so you can let the car warm up a little. I'm reluctant to get a remote start as I've heard that you have to completely disable the security system by placing another remote in the car. I would prefer a remote start quite obviously but at least this way I don't freeze when I get in. Any ideas?

The car seems to run fine without a key even after the loud beeping. My wife had the keys in her purse and went into the shops with them one day. I had to wait in the car with it running till she came back. I was just waiting for the car to switch off or, even worse, start with a loud external alarm.

So they problem is really just how to lock the doors while running. If that's at all possible. Here's hoping...
