Used IS-F in NorCal/SF Bay Area Pricing

Sorry if this topic comes up every other day, but looked through the other posts on the topic and just got more confused on a fair price for a used IS-F. This is my second car, but the first without my fathers Asian haggling skills at work so just trying to figure out what is a fair price and how to get it.

Been looking at certified pre-owned in the SF Bay area and the prices just don't seem to even be in the ballpark of what others have been posting. I know its a little pricier out here, but still kinda high.

Here's a couple I have been looking at from the same dealership, both have ML and backup camera:

Certified Used 2008 Lexus IS F
32,669 miles - Obsidian
$48,888

Certified Used 2008 Lexus IS F
43,501 miles - Smoky Granite Mica
$46,888

And at a BMW dealership that is not certified:
Used 2010 Lexus IS F
7,684 miles - Smoky Granite
$51,888

Question about the 2010 that is not certified, carfax came clean and the reason I am getting an IS-F over an M3 or M5 is its reliability, so do you think it is worth the risk given that is has such low mileage even for a higher price? Also, does the warranty from a new Lexus transfer to a second owner and if I am getting it from a BMW dealership (or private seller) where do I get it serviced?

Anyways, going to test drive this weekend and looking to buy in the next couple of weeks so any other advice is welcome. Thanks, look forward to hearing what you guys think and finally getting into an IS-F!

One more from a private seller than seems a little more reasonable:

Used 2008 Lexus IS F
29,500 miles -Charcoal
$41,500
Lexus warranty should transfer fine...my friend noticed the 2010 as well! Looks like a nice ride...especially if you could work them down just a tad to 49ish
Also...as far as getting it serviced I would recommend Lexura Service Center in Dublin, CA if you are close enough to there, that's where I take Sparky.
stop by EOS X event on october 2nd at stevens creek lexus.. maybe u'll find someone willing to sell their F to you
how's the shopping coming along?

A 2010 with 7000 miles is still under warranty, so you don't need the certification at that point.

You can probably drive that car for another 2 years, and then get an extended warranty if you desire.

Not a bad price either.

The 2008's you saw seem overpriced to me. I wouldn't pay that $$$$ for them, so if you want them, I would aggressively negotiate the price down, and if you don't get what you want, just get up and walk away. If they are desperate enough, they will call you back, or better yet chase you out in the parking lot (happened to me with my current Honda).
10/31/2011 is a great day to buy a car, bought mine on 10/31/2009.

Months End, and they want to close deals.

Thanks for the help guys, got the 2010 this weekend and it is amazing, it was a trade in at a BMW dealership for someone who apparently couldn't handle the stiff ride so probably not too abused and still has the new car smell. Couple of pics attached.

Awesome job. Congratz on the car and the reliability is worth it.

Very nice! Where in the East Bay are you? My friend (new C63) and I go on roadtrips to speed and chase each other about once a month. A different windy road each time and it would be fun to have another IS-F in on the fun!
Congrats on the purchase. It's a great car.

Nice, BMW of Concord I take it?

Good choice.

We are starting a nice lil crew here in NorCal, I'll PM you some details.
Haha, yep, BMW of Concord, but I actually live in SF. Couple of issues I noticed with the car though, /forums/showthread.php?p=29163#post29163.

And will definitely try to meet up with you guys some time.
