Turbo?

i have a pair of T3/T4 turbos brand new never used. (they were for my 95 mustang, never installed)
What would it cost to hook them up. All I have are the two turbos.
Whats the price range with all the parts I would need to get them installed with everything else that's needed. Thank you.

I would think these are too small for the engine, a lot of hardware would be needed, it would be a be off custom job so you are looking at a $15K+ bill, you may be able to use them with part of the Artisan Performance system if you can find one second hand.

It is not worth it IMO, the Elite supercharger option would be more cost effective if it ever gets finished
Elite Supercharger...

Our IS-F's will be 10 years old when a Supercharger is finished..
I'm thinking there are compications somewhere ..:(

Splat, when are we going to get some updates/details about your build. If everything is going along fine, why hasn't any new info been put out regarding this build? Elite was very eager to spread the word at the beginning, but has been very closed lipped over the last several months...why? I am not trying to be negative, but am justifiably curious about the lack of info as things drag on. I'm sure when everything is said and done it will be an AWESOME setup.

Honestly i was gone for a while and didnt really care i heard updates here and there. Then things happened business wise. Im not going to put andys stuff out there but lets just say things have become much better for them as him and his partners are now sole owners. Also they have been working on fine tuning there CNC machine so all parts are made in house (will cut time and cost for future orders). That being said Andy and i sat down today and talked via phone for a while. Everything is done except they were not happy with the way the supercharger sat on the manifold took some new measurements and are cutting a new one to adjust it. I will have new pics for everyone this week. Also they had other issues with the original design so the process has had its ups and downs. I can tell you the only thing we are waiting on is machining and a few tweaks!!

Thanks for the info. I am excited to see the finished product. Andy was lucky to find someone who would give him such an expensive car to keep around for R&D for such a long period of time.

In total, it should cost you around 6-8k. Its an extremely simple car to turbo.

Are you serious? You do understand he doesn't need to build the motor:confused:
I know the engine does not need to be built but as the Artisan kit costs $17K for parts alone I assumed $15K to be reasonable
Since you already have the turbos all you're really looking at is some custom piping, an intercooler + bov, and a couple of wastegates (assuming the turbos you have aren't internally gated). I believe the stock ecu will compensate for up to 8psi so no tuning really needed (though not ideal). T3/T4's really aren't that large and could probably fit where the cats are on the stock headers. If you wanted to be really cheap you could probably have everything done for about $2-3k...
^The stock ECU will not compensate for boost. See page two and three for an explanation:

http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f/546127-whos-turbo-f-is-this-on-ebay.html

With that said, if you're not going to do the work yourself, you should go to a highly reputable shop that is willing to take the time to custom fabricate quality pieces for your possible build. The F is a tricky car when it comes to adding FI and it needs to be done carefully (although it can be done).
I read that thread which is why I made the comment. What I should have said is - the stock system has enough fuel to compensate as there are two complete sets of injectors and the system is 98% direct injected at wot. Whether or not the system can read positive manifold pressure is a different story.
^No worries, just wanted clarify for the OP incase he does carry this out.

And an exhaust system if he doesn't have that.

Really? Not going to lie, thats nuts:eek:

Agreed, no pics as promised. Any news Splat?
Pics are not released bc its not finished andy doesnt want me to put out non finished pictures of the product. so i was promised pics and got them.
