Turbo lag is non-existant on small displacement, high duty cycle engines or where you group cylinders together to maximize pulse timing. The higher the CFM of the turbo the more it will lag obviously. So larger power always takes spool time. The turbos BMW uses are the size of a canned ham.

I've said it before, the R&D upside is not enough for companies to build a supercharger or turbo for the IS-F because of its limited production and even smaller demand for owners who actually want to void their warranty (TRD exception) and make prodigious amounts of horsepower!

Intake/exhaust is all you will see down the road...and you can forget about tuning because from what I have researched, Toyota keeps their ecu's on lockdown; And I doubt yamaha/skunk built this car to be modified.
