Truthfully Can Not Decide What Color To Get!!!

Ok, so I'm going into my local lexus dealer in less than a week to pick up or order my IS F. I can't decide between blue, gray or silver. He already has gray and silver on his lot but if I wanted a blue it'd take a couple days for him to get it from another one of his dealers. I'm having a really tough time deciding though. I feel like if I get the blue I'll love it at first but I might get sick of it after a few weeks, does anyone know what I mean?? I need suggestions with some reasoning lol...

The F blue is an awesome color. I love it and sometimes wish I had gotten it but I had a previous car the same color and it created too much attention and I'm not a big attention guy but if you can handle the attention, why not go with the signature color :)

I personally like the way the silver looks (you can really see the lines in the body). It's less subtle yet still classy and it looks really good with the gunmetal wheels.

The gray is also a good color choice (I don't think there is a bad color in the F). It's all going to depend on what you want. Maybe someone who owns a blue can chime in, or one of the dealership guys can help with your decision.

Don't know if this helps, just thought I would add my two cents worth :)
I'm not a high profile guy but I saw the blue and said "that's the color". I've now had it for two months and still very happy with the choice!

I got in the ultra sonic blue and love it because of the attention. But its good attention, people frequently pull up next to me and tell my how beautiful it looks or how i like it which i find awsome.
Starfire Pearl is my favorite. The Blue is the color you want if you want to have EVERYONE see you, or if you plan on holding onto it for a long time.
The black and Smokey Granite I think tame down the "Look at me, look at me" and hide alot of the body lines. The red is rare, and silver is ok too.

Just me .02
go for smoky granite MATCHES PERFECTLY WITH THE rims, thats my opinion, i think white is the next
Dude! I doubt you'll get any help here. It's all preference. Personally, I like brunettes over blondes! Haha!
IMO the silver with the gunmetal wheels is the best color going. It's classic, holds its resail value (no one wants fadish color cars) and is the color of choice with the likes of Mercedes, Porsche, etc. The blue is nice but does get too much attention (by cops additionally). Black is impossible to maintain and shows every swirl mark known to man. Granite is ok but from different angles gets lost in the lines of the car, and that's what makes it what it is. The red looks like it was driven through a campbells tomato soup car wash and should be reserved for the "50" and over crowd and the only people driving a white car these days are cougars in Scottsdale Arizona driving to their tennis lessons.

Hope this helps!
Damn, where's my racquet?

I totally agree with the whole thing about the silver color... As a matter of fact I was almost going to get the starfire white but at last minute I backed out... The white completely contrasts the stock rims... They almost make the rims look dirty 24/7 IMO... the silver is the closest to white but they dont make the rims look bad at all they have a much better contrast than the white. They didn't have the Silver in stock at the time and I wanted to pick one up already so I got the granite! Finally with the granite if you want to stick with the stock rims of the IS-F I highly recommend it. It just the perfect match for the gunmetal grey wheels... I love the stock wheels, probably won't end up changing them.
Starfire Pearl is Excellent color! Long as you wax the car every six months like I did for the first time..Excellent shine!
I must be the only one who doesn't like the blue. It, like black, is too dark to show off this car's beautiful subtle lines. Unlike black, it does not give the car a sense of class. When the RX8 first came out, blue was a hot color and I did not like it for all the same reasons. Now you rarely see that car in blue.

I agree with the poster above, silver is color used in most of the ads (primarily print) for fine German maunfacturers. It conveys a sense of luxury while highlighting the car's lines.
Right on TomsterF....Silver rocks!!!
There really isnt a bad color for the ISF, however after seeing the car in silver I fell in love. I have owned 4 silver cars since 1999, a bmw m3 in titanium silver, a porsche turbo in arctic silver and a cls55 in an extremely metalic silver and the ISF silver is up there with the best of them. My other two favorites are smokey granite and the pearl white.
I agree with cls552isf.....The pearl white is stunning and then smokey granite would be my third choice.... There is somthing about the mercury metallic that really get the juices flowing.... It reflects the heat and doesn't stand out when flying down the highway.
Listen im going to give u some advice. I love my isf. i leased out the blue with black. i loved the color for about 3 weeks then i started disliking the color. i my opinion i should have taken the starfire pearl. they had one at the dealer and i took the blue. stick with the silver or grey or black . its an everday color you will not get sick of. if i chose an isf now i would get the starfire with alpine interior, but thats just me. Good luck in chosing the right color. u can take over my lease if u want a blue. lol.
Hi everybody, new to the forum. Just made a "smokin'" deal on a '08, Matador Red. I was initially in the Silver vs White mode, but when presented with the Matador, I was good to go!! It has a lot of metallic in it, almost a candy apple look! Pick it up in caouple of days!!
I went with black - hard to keep clean. Gray would be my second choice but my dealer sold that one.
