When at a stop, hold it down for 3 secs and the light will come on. This turns the VSC off completely.

is this an ISF or and IS350? The ISF will totally disengage.

You should be able to hold the switch down then??? I dont know what is up with yours?

The "Pedal Dance" is for the earlier IS350. On that model the VSS will only stay disengaged until about 30mph even when you turn the switch off. The pedal dance is a way to completely bypass it. I know, I had the IS350 before the F. Pain in the butt to turn the VSS completely off. The later IS350s were changed so you can completely shut it off with the switch due to the many complaints
