IMHO, one of the major reasons this forum has so little traffic is because the information provided here is, well, not very good
tbone8801 the only way to see if your dealer will warrant this, is to ask him, and if he says no, elevate it to Lexus Corporate. This seems to be a common problem as these vehicles age. It has not happened to me - Yet However, there does seem to be a more economical fix than that provided by Lexus, if they won't repair your unit. Four threads below, from another forum outline other owners fixes to this issue. The last one is a pretty good DIY.
