I just ordered twin Ti mufflers to make my own exhaust. The Ti tip market is pretty scarce. Material is quite expensive.

Actually I think I am just gonna do duals not quads and these mufflers are kinda big. The Greddy pipes are nice and compact. I would like to make new rear bumper tips out of carbon so it would be a Ti pipe poking its little head out of a carbon caveGoing for the "Greedy Look"??
Yes, I agree material has gotten very expensive as of lately...
Fig, will you still maintain the diagonal or V format of the rear mufflers?Actually I think I am just gonna do duals not quads and these mufflers are kinda big. The Greddy pipes are nice and compact. yep, my moto is that things should bolt on. I will basically make a new rear tip insert peice and have the Ti tip come through it.Fig, will you still maintain the diagonal or V format of the rear mufflers?
Hmmmm, I'd like to see it once you get it all done Fig, it sounds interestingyep, my moto is that things should bolt on. I will basically make a new rear tip insert peice and have the Ti tip come through it.
Very cool.... !Actually I think I am just gonna do duals not quads and these mufflers are kinda big. The Greddy pipes are nice and compact. I would like to make new rear bumper tips out of carbon so it would be a Ti pipe poking its little head out of a carbon cave![]()
yes, my thoughts exactlyVery cool.... !
The tip idea sounds interesting..
We had some tip replacements on the drawing board, but decided to leave the OEM's as they were, since they give the nice sleeper look & of course keeps production costs way down..
It would be great if your Tip replacements work injuction with the OEM system or other ones...

Actually the mufflers I have are Ti, and they have a separate cup that is stainless. The two metals never need to be welded because the muffler is spring fastened to the Stainless like a motorcycle racing exhaust. Its really best if you want a Ti look to get a Ti exhaust. Its not easy to weld Ti to regular stainless steel, you'd need a really good muffler shop that has Titanium rods and skill to actually combine the 2. However im sure there are a few shops out there than can produce that effect without using Ti, JoeZ im sure has plenty of solutions just waiting to happen!
