I got pulled over by two different city cops. Not even for speeding, it was for not having a front license plate (I've never been pulled over for it in my life and this is my third car without one). He came up and did the usual, went back to his patrol vehicle, checked me out (I listened on my police scanner haha) then came back and said he wanted to look at the car, he wasn't going to write me a ticket, he hadn't seen one before so we chatted it up a bit and I made a new best friend 
The second one came up and did the usual. When he came back to my window, I had put my front plate in my windshield. He was quite surprised, I told him I learned from the first time and that I didn't need it on, I'll just keep it in the window Needless to say, I didn't get a ticket from him either and we chatted about the car as well
