Share your stories of people drooling over your car
More people are staring at your car than you think. Take a look at this SL65 AMG picture, it's hilarious: http://img.worldcarfans.com/2008/11/large/mercedes-benz-sl-65-amg-black-series_12.jpg
Anybody else get that awkward feeling when you know there are eyes on you and your car?
I get it all the time, especially being in a college town(during fall/spring) in the middle of nowhere, Illinois. If I'm in a parking lot kids will stop in their tracks and stare. Yesterday I was filling up my tires and I heard some kid say DAMN, and proceeded to stare until I pulled out. I accelerated out for his entertainment.
I pulled into the college McDonalds at 1am before and some kid got out of his car and was swearing madly with a lot of "bros" in between and said he loves me for buying this car.
My girlfriend usually points out 3-5 people staring at my car whenever we are driving somewhere. On our way to Kalahari, Wisconsin, my gf told me some guy is literally freaking out in his seat while driving. I didn't want to look because I knew I would laugh but I did and surely he was freaking out and he lipped "I have 350z at home". I gave him the thumbs up and went WOT to get out of sight.
I think the worst has to be when I have all windows and the roof open and I end up at a stop sign with a bunch of college kids waiting. I can almost always hear IS-F.
The IS-F starts lots of nice conversations about cars all the time.
