Summit Point Raceway - West Virginia

I believeit's much easier just to join a car club's event or even go for the FATT ( Friday at the track) at Summit Point., unless you have more than 60 people signed up to share the expenses. Well some people may need instructors too.

I'm still going to check into it to see how much its going to be. My cousin and myself are interested in renting it for a few hours so we'l see what happens.

I agree with Trackaddict. It's a fun track but you might want to consider attending an organized event. Just a scenario...if you rent it for a day, have a few friends drive around it...it might be a blast but keep in mind that there are no flag stations of people looking out for cautions...could be a car off track, deer, debris and yes, even a bear! I've been running at SP since '94 and have seen all sorts of things happen. With quality instruction, you'll learn really how to drive this track.

Check out Hyperfest which is in June. I will be one of the instructors...probably the only ISF if I decide to bring it!
