I have noticed the same thing. My dad just bought a base Porsche Cayman (I know, i know. I begged him not to, but he said it was enough car for him) and always has people trying to race him. I have yet to have anyone even notice my car besides a neighbor that stopped and inquired about the F when I was washing it.I have discovered, perhaps with a little disappointment, that most people, even those with fast(ish) cars, do not seem to know what the IS-F is. I have had people clearly checking it out, but most just see Lexus IS and do not seem to think twice. Until I zoom past them!
I would not mind a couple red light drag races but none yet. Of course, I would stay well within the speed limit!
I don't really mind. I don't need some teenager killing himself on the freeway trying to see if he can outrun an F. A short stoplight drag would be fun if the conditions were safe enough for it, but otherwise I've pretty much given up street racing. I'm lucky i survived my high school years and the F is twice as powerful as an car I had back then.
