I must agree that in general people do not know what the F can do. I've had a few BMWs and 350Zs pull up wanting to race, thinking I have a 250 or 350.

But that's why I love the F....the look on the face when they realize it's not a 250 or 350 ---- F'n priceless!

M3s are a dime a dozen in this area. Old M3s, new M3s (coupes and sedans)...M3s are great cars but they are just too ordinary here.

The 6 series in general is ugly so the M6 doesn't do anything for me either.

The only BMW I think is a remarkable is the M5....that car is a beast.

I was driving home this evening just going with the flow of traffic. I noticed a car in the faster lane come up and just kind of slow down next to me...it turned out to be a BMW 1-series. Then he punched it so I turned on Sport mode and M and took off in the lane behind him.

I gained on him fairly easily and had to keep letting off the gas as I was getting too close to him and there were other cars in the lane over. Eventually I just let it go because traffic started to pick up and it's not worth causing any accidents.

Just another case of a typical BMW driver thinking he has an ultimate driving machine.
