The rims will fit on the opposite side, but they are designed for a specific position on the car. They are uni-directional to help pull heat away from the brakes. But if a person was just buying it for a spare replacement it would work great.
I did enjoy the M5 when I was trying to decide, but man I didn't care for the extra cost and I have heard a bunch of horror stories about needing to send it to the shop for work constantly. But at 600hp it is going to be one heck of a ride.
