Stock Lug Nuts for Five Axis Rims

This question is for guys who have experience with Five Axis rims. I was told by the online store that sold me my silver S5:F's that the stock lugnuts would work with it. So there is no need for aftermarket ones.
I am currently at a Lexus dealership and they told me the stockies will not fit my S5:F's. Luckily they said that they have the correct type ( acorn type?).
So, I called up the sales guy I bought the rims from and he insisted they would work. And he even said that they work with Longo Lexus a lot and they use the stockies most of the time.
So, my question is, would they work at all?

FYI, I am running the Five Axis rims as my winter wheels only.I am goin back to the BBS wheels this spring.

Just in case I get no replies, I would understand as there are only a few of you who have these rims :):)

I have Axis rims as well...I upgraded to 20X9 in the front and 20X10 in the rear. The place where I got the rims changed out my bolts all together. I didn't notice this until I got home. They even replaced my locking bolts on all the wheels. I now have all new bolts all around, but I'm going back to them next week to look at the locking bolts they put on. I'm sorry this dosen't help you any, but more so had the same experience you have had.
Lexura1414 asked for Five Axis rims, they have nothing in common with Axis appart a similar name.
JoeZ should be able to answer as he has S5:F's on his F

Hi Lexura, this information holds true for a majority of the aftermarket wheels out there: Almost all of them take what is called a conical seat lugnut. They have a 60 degree taper at the end of it that seats in the hole of the aftermarket wheel. The factory Lexus lugnuts have a shank that goes down inside of the factory wheel rather then "seating" on top of the lug hole like an aftermarket wheel. Unless the aftermarket wheels specifically state that they take the factory Toyota/Lexus shank style lugnut, they will not work. Any decent wheel retailer/distributor would know that. It's kinda like a square peg in a round hole to keep it in simple terms! Hope that helps. :)

BTW: I'm coming up on my 500th post! There will be a party!

Great info Champ. This is the kind of help/service I am looking for a in a vendor. I reckon I have the wrong sales person. I am not sure if you sell these rim but I sure wish I purchase them from you. I will be upgrading to Volk wheels in a few months. Hopefully you sell them. Thanks again and I will remember you.:)

My pleasure! I am here to help out when I can. It can be frustrating when you as the end user have to do all of this follow up work for something you bought from an online company. I appreciate you recognizing us a supporting vendor also, I am here to help and also hope that the members reciprocate. :)
