Thanks for the video and dyno results!

Now, in your opinion (since it is hard to tell in the video) is it much louder than the stock set up? Deeper?

thanks again.
The sound is hard to tell in the video because it's up at the engine, but it is definitely louder. It's not obnoxious though, just deeper, meaner sounding.
headers

In the video, was the car completely stock with the exception of the headers?

Is tuning necessary after installation?
Sounds great. Thanks for the hard work to get these things on the market. I'll be looking at getting a set in the near future. Any plans for a group buy?

The car had the joe Z intake tube and an exhaust. There wont be any tuning necessary plus there really isn't anything tuning wise out there except for the AEM with some custom mods by elite. The only thing you will need is the provided parts to keep the 02 sensors happy.

+1 on group buy!

Any way you could scan the dynos I'd love to print them out.

Also was this run on 93 octane?
When will these be available for sale?? Will you ship to Puerto Rico?
They are available on Sikky's website
A group buy sounds fair...
Nice!!!!!! I love that it's my car. She sounds mean. Great job sikky! The car was run on 93 octane.
Hey Jason,

I don't suppose you will be anywhere near Baltimore tomorrow? I would love to hear that beast in person.
So...I had the pleasure of riding around in Jaslapp's car today. WOW!!! That thing is wicked. It is definitely meaner than stock, but the sound deadening of the car makes it quite bearable with the windows up (Of course everybody has a different tolerance to noise). I took a video on my camera, which didn't turn out very well. I'll try posting it. I almost don't want to because it absolutely does not do the real sound justice. We hit a rainstorm midway through the video, and you can hear the rain on the windshield more than anything. Sorry, I wish I could have provided better audio.
post that shit.
Video

good man. windows down really kills any video because all the camera picks up is mid freq wind noise. sounds good, now the car just needs a k&n intake then it will have some serious anger issues.

Gymkata, objectively though was there a big diff? Is power jump worth the extra db in sound? How I wish Akarapovic will make exhausts for our baby.

I definitely think it is worth the extra sound. I haven't ridden in an ISF with just the JoeZ exhaust, but according to Jaslapp, the exhaust makes more of the noise than the headers do. The Sikky headers with JoeZ exhaust are only a little louder than with just the JoeZ exhaust, but provide a more savage crackle. It is hard to describe.

I rode around with Jaslapp for about 30 minutes. At first I thought it might be a little loud for daily driving, but we were driving with the windows down. With the windows up, I could definitely live with it and love every minute of driving. Other motorists will definitely know you are there though, as it is much louder outside the car. The sound is absolutely intoxicating.

The important thing is the car isn't that loud in the cruising RPM band (1500-2500). The sweet aural intoxication will spring to life the second you put the petal down though.

As far as a power jump, it felt faster than stock. I was a passenger though, and it is difficult to determine when you aren't driving. Plus I think the meaner sound makes it feel even faster.

The Sikky headers will be my next mod...before an exhaust. Dollar for dollar, I think that is the biggest gain you can make. I probably won't be doing this anytime soon though, as I have to finish building my house first and see how much spare change I have left over.

I'm glad you enjoyed the ride. I was gonna take you around the back roads some more but it started raining.
i ordered a set of headers. and sikky called me today to confirm that i have been charged 500 for a deposit until they ship. its nice to deal with a company that notifies its customers when they order things. i ordered the joez carbon fiber exhaust tips last week from carson toyota.... not a peep. and i have been charged. when i ordered my exhaust last year i called them after 2 weeks, only to have them tell me that they didnt have any in stock and they weren't even being made yet because of lack of parts. i dont want to rag on joe, its fine on his end, but they couldnt even let me know what was or wasnt happening. i just hope sikky has these made in 3 weeks like i was told so i can get them on.
