I think you should keep it, I also have an 08 sts-v, very nice car but the materials are very cheap, it will squeak, fall apart and mine has done the same problem 3 times so far when the battery dies every 3 weeks or month, the car only has 3000 miles on it! I heard a few probs about the new CTS-V as well.
