Safari on a Mac

Just to let the mods know, your new site doesn't play nice on a Mac using Safari. Firefox works fine, but not Safari. I've used two Macs over the weekend, and same result.

Safari is not a safe platform for security. I have 20 or so Macs for my business, I dump the app and install Firefox. Consumer Reports rated Safari as one of the five most vulnerable mediums that are susceptible to third parties. I love the product, just not the web browser.
^^^^Safari 5.0, and this past week, 5.0.1 plugged those holes. And - Safari is a lot faster than Firefox. However, IMHO, the more browsers the better. About a month ago, I switched back to Safari from Firefox. I also have Chrome installed.

thx for post, i am updating as we speak. stopped coming on the forum for a while because i that it was the server or something
^^^^I never said the 5.0.1 update fixed the problem here, as it most assuredly doesn't. It does, however, plug the security holes mentioned by Lovaas. As I originally said, this site and Safari (on a Mac) do not play well together.

I have problems in Firefox, most of the images like the header are missing and so are all the images in the quick reply box, and smiles don't display either.
Hmm, I have Firefox 3.6.8 installed, and I just checked, and it's working fine on this site. All images show as it should, not so with Safari.

Well, just thought I'd check, and Chrome also displays properly.

BTW, I find it odd that no Mods have weighed in here?????

I'm on the latest version of Chrome (5.0.375.125) running on Windows 7, 64-bit edition.

The site is not working properly for me as well with the same issue that some of you have already reported: Many buttons are basically missing their images.
So, it appears to not be a Mac issue. But it's odd that on a Mac Firefox and Chrome work fine, but not on a PC:confused: In any case, it does now appear to be an issue with this site.

Well, I was wrong. I was only looking at the first page with the other two browsers, when I did some poking around, I found that all three browsers have trouble, in varying degrees, posting the correct graphics. If this issue is not soon corrected, this site will be gone. Also, what happened to my Premium Membership? It appears to have been bad investment.

IE 7 and 8 are doing the same thing. The links to the images are not working.
I'm having problems with the images as well in Firefox both in Mac OS X and Windows XP.

Well, sorta fixed. Safari and Chrome both show a problem with an icon right under the member status. Firefox shows no icon. Me thinks the problem icon is the premium membership icon. Still no word from a mod - that really floors me:confused: However, all else seems to be displayed properly.

Please use this thread for any further reports. Thanks for letting us know about the issue!
