Hello all! Does anyone know if there is a repair manual available out there for our car, or is it too soon to have one?

There should be one available to order at the dealer parts counter. Or if you would like instant access to one online for a nominal fee, you can go to Toyota's Technical Information System here:

Thanks for the info! I'll check it out.
Yes, there is. It comes in four volumes, I had a set shipped here.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost and where did you get it?
I just purchased the electical and engine mechanical. I figured I do not need the chassis stuff.

It cost me around $800 I think. I really don't know where my friend got it from but he is in Ontario, CA. I had to get all 4 volumes because at the time I got the F, Lexus here wasn't opened yet.

That's too much for me, but thanks for the info. I was hoping to find a simple DIY manual like the Haynes kind. With the kind of manual you have, you can probably build an IS-F from ground up! :)

The Haynes manual takes a year or two to come out. I doubt they'll have one for the F considering it's such a low-volume car. =\

Oh well, just thought I'd ask.. But I'm still hoping for a simple manual to come out in the future for not-so-mechanically-inclined people like me. The Haynes manual is just easy for me to follow. If not, I can always count on the gearheads in this forum. ;)
