It's easier to take out the whole rear seat squab, and then it's obvious how to remove the centre section from the wires holding the LH & RH seat squabs together (4 clips, the rear two pull up, then the front two pull forward). To remove the whole seat squab just pull up each rear seat from the front to disengage the two location clips and then pull forward and up to clear the two foam covered tongues at the rear. Before you take it out remember where the seat belt locks are located so you put them back in the correct location!I'm looking to remove my rear center cover to put a carbon fiber wrap on it. Does any one have an idea how it comes out. I just don't want to start ripping it out with out having an idea how it comes apart. Any help would be great.
I attempted to wrap the rear centre cover with Di-Noc CF but couldn't get the wrap around the sharp curves at the front. As I didn't want cut edges I abandoned the wrap and skinned it with real CF to match the front trim. Fortunately I had a spare centre section so can play around with one while the other one stays in place.
I have pics, but apparently cannot put up URL's from Imageshack until I have made 15 posts
