Raced an RS4

After weeks of driving round hoping for someone in a decent car would try to race me i finally got my wish. Was driving down the motorway to my wifes parents house and noticed a car approaching from behind quickly. I noticed it was a red rs4 saloon and he slowed next to me (about 80mph). I imediately put it into manual and sports mode and floored it. I left him standing and then slowed for him to pass me. He was going a fair speed when he overtook me then i planted it again and was right behind him until he moved over and i sailed past him surprisingly easy. Was a great buzz and i shocked how much quicker the isf was.

Hey Rock, thanks for the info. I didn't know one guy's times were considered the benchmark there.
8:18 for the ISF huh...I bet it would do substantially better if Lexus hadn't equipped it with such narrow rubber. I mean, come on! 225 front and 255 rear is pretty narrow for a 3780 lb sports car...I run the same size rubber on my wife's S2000, and it weights a 1000 lbs less.
I agree completely. I was surprised at how narrow the tyres were also.
