Do European and Japanese F's have a small light above the F on the front fenders?

I think the Japanese F's do have a small light but I think it might be below the F and it seems to be more of a turn signal light.
Both Japanese and European F's have turn signal lights on the right and left sides below the F badging :)
I kinda wish i had this on mine :) Is it something to do with laws over there?
it may have to do with laws here... you can't have clear side markers here in the US so maybe they didnt want to put yellow side markers on the f and ruin the look of the car. not sure what the color of the side markers are on the european and japanese models but, if they are clear, then that is probably the reason....
The new IS250 I seen at the dealer has the indicator lights built into the right and left hand rearview mirrors.

That's Turn Signals that you're seeing.

the dealer told me they didn't put cooling seats in to save weight. wonder if that's the reason why lexus decided against the fender lights, although can't imagine they weigh that much.

i know i've seen BMWs with fender lights though...

The weight saving is a common reason mentioned as to why they didn't put them in  I don't think they'd not put in the side lights for weight saving purposes, probably for styling or another reason :D

its part of laws in those countries! they have to have them. here you dont have to have them! :)
The US does allow clear side markers, however, the US Verison IS-F does not have them because it is not required here in the US as in other parts of the world.

As far as the cooling feature in the seats, they were not installed not to save weight, but for the simple reason that the new IS-F's seats could not accomidate both the heated and cooling systems in them.. One of the first things I noticed about the vehicle before it was even introduced to the public and I spoke with on the IS-F team. I mentioned that I thought it made more sense to have the cooling feature of the heat since most of the time, you will be driving the car in warmer weather, not cold weather....
It would be nice to have the F fender badges light up to a color of your liking. ;) Just a thought to aftermaket manufacturers...
thanks for clearing that up... didnt know clear markers were legal... i just remember when i swapped the yellow markers on my bmw long time ago with clears, the guy told me i could put in yellow bulbs or go with clear bulbs but that the clear bulbs would be illegal.
