Products to maintain the interior

Hey Guys,

What products do you recommend using to keep the leather inside the car looking good and new? I had the car zinon (i think that's how you spell it) at the dealer ship and they told me that the treatment they did keeps stains off the leather but nothing about keeping the leather looking fresh.

The car is four months old and my seat looks used already.:mad:

Anyways, what do you recommend or use? How do you use it?

Thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like to use Meguiars Gold Class Interior Cleaner Spray to clean the leather and remove any excess oils and dirt, then I follow up with Meguiars Gold Class Leather Cleaner/Protectant spray to help keep the leather soft.
I use Lexol conditioner and cleaner. It's worked great on my prior cars and has been doing the job.

+1, I use the same two products and have been fairly impressed
So simply wash the car and apply the products? Will it make the interior looks shiny/ oily or will the leather just absorb the products?

The Cleaner helps remove any excess oils which cause the shiny appearance. Keep in mind overtime as the leather wears, it will get shiny, there is no way around it other than not sitting on the seats haha. The cleaner allows you to keep that nice clean factory matte finish. The leather protectant helps keep the leather soft. The Megs Gold Class leather protectant spray is my fave as it does not leave a oily/greasy residue after you apply. Just make sure to follow the directions and make sure you wipe everything with a clean towel or cloth.
I use static wipe sheets to get the dust off, and vaccum.

Sonus Total Eclipse or Wolfgang vinyl protectant for the dash.

Sonus leather package for the seats and steering wheel.
Peleg, I appreciate you going out of your way to share your tips even if no one's aksed. I read both interior and exterior cleaning tips.

Great, thanks!
+1 Lexol, its awesome stuff. Meguiars is pretty good too and it has a really pleasant smell, kinda like JDM squash!

The Lexol stuff is pretty good, I notice that most dealerships carry that stuff.

Np, more chapters to come. :)
I suggest you put up a site and post all of these.....Peleg's Simple Detailing Techniques
I use Leather Masters Leather Protector and Strong Cleaner. Leaves a nice matte finish.
