If the base price is closer to $60K than to $50K, then I will not be buying one. I'm expecting a low $50K base price and if it is more than that, then in my opinion it is overpriced. That would be a real shame because I had high hopes based on previous pricing estimates by Edmunds and Motortrend ($50K base price). Now they are all saying $60K base price, which is too much.

Taking Orders?

Greetings to all. New to the Forum. I have been trying to do as much research on these new rocketships as possible.

I must say that I am eagerly awaiting its release as well as the M3 Sedan...
Cosmetically and reliability wise I am really leaning toward the F...

Has anyone been able to place an order yet??
I will be curious to see if the NM Special Editions have sold out @ $68K a pop.

I will be hitting up the salesman of my wifes ES tomorrow...

Happy Holidays to everyone

You should expect to see the IS-F come one way ... all the way loaded. A price tage of around $60K would be reasonable for this vehicle, though the competing BMW and Audi products are even higher than that option for option. Sometime in the next month you should see the pricing be announced. I'll try to post something here once I catch wind.

Ehh, I cringe to think that a base model would be "around" 60K. I was so excited when I read that edmunds.com article, and then the one in Car and Driver that estimated it at around 50K.

52K would make me exceedingly happy, but the more speculations I read, the less likely that seems to be.

Any more information?

just joined this forum....luvin it!. Anyway I spoke to one of the service men at Woodfield lexus in Schaumburg. He told me he was informed the prices will start in the low 70's.

I'd say start shopping around for loans folks.

I'll hold off for a GT-R if that's the kind of money they'll be looking to get for these cars. I love the quality of Lexus and the ISF will undoubtedly be a great car, but that just seems a bit much for this car. While I love Lexus quality, I also love brut speed and the GT-R at an MSRP of 70k I think would just be a little more fun for the money even if the ride is a little more harsh. O-60 in 3.3 seconds sounds like a good time to me :). If I can get an ISF for 50k or maybe even 55k, then I'd have to think twice about my decision, but at 70k+, GTR, here I come.
