Price?

Im guessing around 80-85 up here for Canadians.

It will be competatively priced with the M3, C63 and S4. Pricing has not been finalized yet as Lexus is still doing the research to properly price this vehicle.

I was thinking (hoping) it would be in the high 40's, priced around the bmw 335i.

doubt it since a fully optioned 350 is in the low/mid 40's.

A fully loaded IS350 with every single available option tops out at $48k. Very unlikely that the IS-F will start at the 40 range.

True, but you can get a loaded bmw 338 in the mid 40's, and I've seen 335i's in the higher $48's. I don't think lexus would price this car $5-$10k over the 335i.

This car was meant to compete with the M3 not the 335i. The IS350 is the direct competitor to the 335i. The 335i and the 328i are the replacement for the former 330i and 325i respectively.

Yah we are getting shafted big time up here in Canada on car prices... bigger sticker price plus tons of tax.

I'm guessing that the price will be around $50K for a base model and the price may approach $60K for a fully loaded one. Lexus has competitive pricing, and I don't think that to be any different for the IS-F.

Ouch, where are you from? Thats amazing its that much higher and the exchange rate is about the same?

Just got my October issue of Car and Driver and they backup what was published on the Edmunds site. Here is a direct quote from page 106:

"Expect a price of (just) under $50,000 when the car debuts early in 2008."

I assume they are referring to the base price, and naturally options could increase the price considerably. I wonder what source Car and Driver received this information from.

I am getting a fully loaded IS-F so I expect my price w/tax to be somewhere in the mid 60 USD range.

I only heard that pricing will be in the $50K+ range for the U.S. This was from our local dealership internet/fleet manager. I guess we will have to wait once final pricing has been released.

I hope it would be around $50k-55k max, anything more would be over priced.

I would think lexus would also keep it around 50-60k. With the GT-R coming soon and with the price tag that it will have less than 80k I think that the IS-F will have a nicer price, being such that these cars arent really being compared too.

I work for lexus and they have informed me that it will be $50-$60 no more no less.

The price will be a bugger at $59,600 (base price) + 2300 or so for navi.

There are also some performance sway bars, carbon fiber engine cover, and such available from Lexus. The most expensive is the $11,500 for carbon/ceramic brake rotors and larger calipers.

I saw it/drove it at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
