Well, it just so happens that I'm having it done
While traveling on the freeway up to Phoenix, the car in front of me shot some debris (the tread of a truck tire) back at me damaging my bumper. I've ordered the bumper cover. My estimate:
Cover - $333.98
Flex Additive - $8.00
Misc - $3.00
Body & paint labor - 6.2 hours @ $48.00 = $297.60
Paint Supplies - $108.00
Sales Tax - $39.15
Total - $789.73
In addition I asked them to shoot with two coats of clear and to smooth out the two license plate dimples. They agreed to do both.
I really hate to replace the bumper on a new car, but I don't have much of a choice
