I am curious as well. I have read about this on multiple other threads, but I still don't feel I understand the best header setup. I have heard that stainless is probably the best overall for headers, but that ceramic coating does a better job of insulating against head dissipating into the engine bay. Ceramic is cheaper than stainless, but can be damaged more easily than stainless during installation, and can flake off over time thereby leading to rust. Header wrap seems to be the cheapest, but supposedly traps moisture underneath it over time and also leads to rust.

What about wrapping stainless steel headers? Will stainless steel not rust even if exposed to constant moisture from wrapping? I imagine this would really help keep heat out of the engine compartment? I know somebody here has to be an expert on this topic...
