Polished Upper Radiator Hose

For those of you that like polished parts under your hood, I thought I would be cool to offer a polished upper hose! So I made a prototype and I am in the process of jigging it up so we can make more! Here are some pics of the first one, the final production will have much cleaner welds and will have nice silicone couplers

Perhaps grinding down the weld bead would help with appearance?

I hate to say this but I think that hose should stay rubber. I'm not too sure using rubber ends to compensate will really help especially with the engine movement during hard shifting or even startup. That's just more stress on other parts, including the mounts.

Hard polished hoses are used all the time on many cars. The silicone ends will flex plenty for the amount the engine moves. As for the welds. Yes the actual production will not have bulging welds.
