I'm currently in the market for an Exige or POSSIBLY an Elise, supercharged. I'm keeping the IS-F for daily driving and for classier affairs, and plan on taking the Lotus out on the track(once I learn how to drive the thing) and for some cruising.

I'm brand loyal to Toyota and Lexus since they've never let me down, and the Lotus comes with a nice, proven, bulletproof Toyota engine. I can't afford an LF-A, so this will do.

Anybody have experience in a Lotus? I've never driven a manual vehicle before, but it doesn't seem complex. It's very crude but seems like an absolute blast to drive.

It's a really great car overall. The fuel economy isn't bad either for long trips, 25-30ish on the highway. But then again... The seats will probably be hell on a long trip.

I'm waiting on a used model in the color I prefer which is a pain but one should come along by summer time. I need to put a request in at the Lamborghini dealership in the city, they usually bring in Lotus cars all the time. Hoping for either a blue like this http://www.pistonheads.com/pics/news/18574/DSC_0025-L.JPG

which would look nice next to the IS-F... OR a smoke grey.

Now it's just a waiting game. :(
