The first venue to witness the introduction of such a LFA is the 2011 North American International Auto Show that will open its doors to the press on Monday. The car in the adjacent image is nothing more than an orange version of the LFA and, although we don't know for sure if there's anything else worth mentioning about it, the company confirmed via its Twitter account that it will be shown in Detroit.

^Interesting they went with orange for the car show color. I've seen a few yellow LF-A's and now orange...gotta say, not really feeling the colors I've seen the LF-A in thus far. Thanks for this information though and I look forward to seeing more pictures of the Detroit Auto Show coming up.

Actually not that bad of an orange. I like the Carbon Ceramic brakes (want them on the F without costing two legs and an arm) but those look like four caliper in the front, is that right or is it my eyesight?

I took several pics of the Orange LFA at the Gallery Event this past Sunday and Wolfgang Puck was in town. I also took pics of it on the show floor. Here are some that I loaded on FB earlier this week...

LFA all over the place. Here are just a few of the Orange I took earlier this week at the show loaded from my FB account:

Jim Lentz and other Toyota execs talking about the LFA with NHTSA Administrator David Strickland.

Another shot with Scion in the background.

I'm still sorting through the 700+ pics I took earlier this week during the show. Will post more soon.

I drove an Orange LFA in Fontana this past weekend. They had a yellow one there too. The orange one had been several different colors before it became orange. It's the Lexus race demo and apparently they repaint it every few months. It looked sweet, but I'm not partial to orange or yellow. I'd take either one though! What a freakin' blast to drive!!!

^^ I went the same day you did..

The special invite by Lexus Corp. I had, called for "Rain or Shine"... Our cards were dealt for Rain..!!

Let's just say driving it in the rain was truly an EPIC experience..!!!

^^ One of the last great shots of the Orange LFA before it went back to Pearl Gray

I like how the Smoky Granite Mica IS-F was hinting in the background... :) :p

It's already back to my favorite color that it was before it was made Orange for a short time..

I don't care what color you make that car in, it's still going to look sexy! lol
I really like that orange. Looks like an orange julius drink.

I saw that car too, and I liked the orange! But I think I remember the guy working there saying that it was a wrapping, not the real paint job. I remember seeing some very tiny scuffs at the bottom of the front end (probably from transporting the car around,) and you could see hints of a different color underneath.
