So ive been here a total of 3 days and I think I have been challanged by just about every car brand under the sun "uhhem BMWs"...ok maybe not challanged but engines reved and a lot of squeeling tires at lights. I tend to choose my battles wisely and know my limits...you would think others would do the same:).Its been a great couple of days of driving for sure and the mountain roads are a blast to tool around on had a full un obstructed run up Mulhuland drive and a prius accually pulled to the side and waved so I could run up the hill . Finally get to "drive" this car, smiles have just gotten bigger for me. ill post pics of the cross country trip soon. Looking forward to seeing some of you Fs on the street.
Cheers

Welcome to California Johnsy...I love when people rev their engines at us...it's like the little dog barking at the big dog :)
Thanks for the welcome JONJON ... I was out tonight just riding checking out the city and while on the 110 had a group of 6 2000nd ish trans ams try and box me in. I think one is going to need to hit the shop after doing some neutral rev thing in front of me. smoke just started billowing from his car and they all took the next exit. Comedy
Welcome to Cali!

It's awesome here! Enjoy your stay. You will get nothing but love from rivers trying to show you up! I let them do whatever they want cause what's the worse they brag about...my Yaris smoked this is f on the freeway!!

I tend to get a lot of Yaris trying to race me. Lol

haha hilarious. thanks for the welcome SiLky.
Welcome to CA, this is where it all began as far as the Street/Import scene, so you'll get a lot of it.

Pick your races wisely as far as location/date/time so you don't get toasted by the 5-0.
Good advice...I for one toasted a pretty new Corvette tonight going up hill ;-)
For those who haven't heard by now Angeles Crest has reopened newly paved. I'm going to take the CBR up tomorrow and the F out Sunday. I'll try and get some videos. We should do a group run through there soon.
welcome to CA! Where are you staying at? So Cal?

Haha you know I have yet have anyone want to try and race me.... Except on the 3rd day I had the car a guy in a new CTS-V raced me -_-; Other then that, no one really wanted to try lol
Let me know how the roads are there. I've been wanting to take the F up the hills ever since I got it.

Its amazing...i usually enter in La Canada off the 210 exit 20 to rt 2 long stretch of new black top repair from the fire damage awhile back. I go during the week never before 10 a.m. as the cops are there from early a.m. till about 9:30 catching speedy commuters. after 10 the commuters have gone and just a few service trucks around... weekends really suck everyone and there mom is up there. there are some more remote locations that i have been collecting but have not tried yet. ill keep you posted. i put up a vid of part of that run here.
