Just installed my new tires RE 11's and had my wheels powder coated. I did the pin stripe myself using vinyl. Installed carbon fiber spliters. Blackout car.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

I think i like it. maybe a real blue paint stripe the size of a pinstripe maybe about 1/8th of an inch from the edge of the lip my look a hotter in a subtle way. the blue is just hinted on this car so for me the stripe is a little thick but hey what do i know....
Next Year When I put on my new tires, I will change it to a 1/4 inch stripe. Just harder to do. The problem is not getting a wobble look while driving. That was why I went with the half inch. And this colour isn't as obvious when it's bright out. In the shade it appears darker. The vinyl is a little translucent. Paid a total of $300 for powder coat and vinyl.
Pretty cheap set up when you want a different look.

I like it. Looks good.

When you do it again, check out the motorcycle wheel tape on eBay. It comes precut and looks like it wouldn't be too hard to apply.
I've been thinking about getting my wheels powder coated. Do you think they hold up better PC'd than the paint that is on there?

Yes, powder coating is tougher than paint.
100% better. But boy, I've got hrs and hrs of detailing to do over the summer ..

make sure you get a reputable powder coater...i have had some issues with motorcycle part that coat so thick you couldnt see the welds so the coating was wavy in some spots and low in others. his wheels look well done though.
Thanks for the info fellas. I'll be looking into shops this summer. Well maybe sooner.
@Bullterrier--Sorry bro. Got side tracked with the powder coat that I forgot to say the wheels look good. The stripe is a little thick for my taste, but still looks good.
Looks good bro
Thanks guys!
So what size RE-11s are you running? On what size wheels?
Evidently you had some rubbing issue... right?

Thanks,

245/35r19f and 275/30r19r. I did have issues but rolled the fenders. 19x8.5f and 19x10r
Cheers
Looks great!!! As has been said already, I think a slightly thinner stripe would be better, but overall the car looks HOT. IMO a blacked out car looks much better if there is a hint of another color to offset the black, and the blue does this very well.
Sick wheel package. The "F" cap is awesome. I'm wanting to throw a similar pair on my F. where can u get the "F" cap?
Looks nice

Where did you get your Carbon Fiber Front Splitters?
