So I haven't ever owned a Lexus but have been waiting on the LF-A to come out since the beginning. I am also considering the IS-F but am worried about how it handles in the snow.

Welcome

Not sure how it will handle myself. Being a rear-wheel drive car I bet it will be interesting. It does have a lot of torque from stop, but the car does have a "snow" button that when engaged eases the starting power. I am nervous to see how it works. From stops I do lose traction at times on wet roads.
Having driven high performance cars with high performance tires in the snow, I can say that it will "not be good" in the going catagory. :(

I can also say that It will be "terrifying" in the stopping catagory!!
Welcome to the site!!

I'm not sure how the F will handle in the snow, I'm not sure if anyone does yet (good thing I live in Texas :) ) I would say though that this car has enough smarts to be able to keep you safe in the snow so long as your not doing anything ridiculous or not smart
Man up, your not buying a IS-F for it's winter driving performance.....

Muhahaha. You got that right!
If it's your only ride, get some wheels and snow tires, like Fig did.
Wel my other ride is a Supra so that is not exactly a winter driving car lol.
