Hi...my name is Sean and I've been lurking on this board since early August, reading and researching. I finally got my F two weeks ago, I got every possible option except for the Radar Cruise Control. I've been modifying cars for over 20 years and I currently also own a '06 Evo IX, lightly modded and my daily driver Honda Accord. I usually just lurk for information on most boards but I think I might actually speak up every now and then as I believe I will have a few things to offer. I live in MA and the streets have been covered with slush for the past week so I've only driven the car a few times but I can't wait to hit the 1000 mile mark so I can really have some fun!

Welcome to the site Sean and congrats on your purchase! How are you liking it so far? So you can have more fun earlier, the break in period is only 681 miles on this car :)

We enjoy everyones input so please feel free to ask any questions you might have  Crack a beer and enjoy the board
Hi Sean and welcome! Nice to see you come out of the shadows. Hopefully, some of the information you found here was helpful in your decision to buy the "F". Looking forward to what you have to share!

Doug
Welcome. I'm new here myself, a recent owner also, 12/04/08. What part of Massachusetts? I grew up in West Newton, but left for good in the summer of '73.

hi there, welcome to the site and congratulations on your purchase. you won't regret the buy.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Like I said in my original post, with the slush covered streets here in MA I have barely driven the car as it's not my daily driver. I'm sure this will make the times when I do get to drive the car even more fun!
Lowrider...I live in Boston and bought my car two days after you got yours!
Welcome. It sound like we have some thing in common. My daily drive is a EVO VIII which I left stock since it was my sales car (106,000 miles) still going strong. My ISF only comes out on sunny days (what is slush). I live in AZ and the car has not seen the rain since I bought it in Sept.
Thanks for the welcome 5 by 5. Slush is basically a combination of snow, water, ice and road salt all mixed together. It's what is left all over the roadways following a snow storm. Like your IS F, my Evo was also only driven on sunny days and it only has 1,200 miles on it. I barely drove the car and then I saw the IS F and fell in love. The Evo is Electric Blue and for sale if anyone is interested.
