Welcome to the site and congrats on your purchase! Don't feel bad at all about your purchase, I did the same thing you did and haven't looked back for one second, it truly is an amazing car. Your going to have a lot of fun in it and get quite a bit of attention from those who know what it is (and some who don't) Get to know the car and all the features and you'll be amazed, like Doug said, at what it can do.

As far as it keeping it clean, like everyone stated, be sure to wax it 3-4 times a year and wash it once a week or so if possible  There is also a product called Meguiars Quick Detailer that I use in between washes. It's easy on, easy off and takes no more then 10 minutes to wipe down the whole car. It helps keep it clean between the washes thus keeping up the paint and making the washes themselves easier. I'd pick up a bottle to try

Your question regarding bedding is going to be up to you. Some people bed theirs while others don't. I personally didn't bed mine when I bought it. I waited for the squeaking then I took it out on the highway and did some high speed breaking (90-50, 80-40, etc.). Its going to be up to you if you want to bed yours. The link below will help answer more of your questions about brake bedding and what it does (advantages, etc.)

Feel free to ask any questions you may have once you get the car. Enjoy it and be careful not to get into to much trouble right away :p
