Hello everyone,

New Dallas TX. owner here. Just picked up a 08 Mercury Metallic with 13700 miles on it. I have been trolling the forum for over a year and finally found the right car. You would be shocked at the amount of ISFs for sale in Texas that appear that the previous owner was either blind or thought the car was a Yugo.

Previous ride was a modded SRT6 Crossfire and I am looking forward to learning more about the ISF.

Thanks for the welcome guys, we should try to organize a DFW meeting of ISF owners.

I am not planning on any real mods for a while, just the basics...window tint and brake pads to start.

I have been in DFW for 10 years now driving these roads! My SRT6 had staggered 19"s and 20"s, so I am a pro at dodging potholes!!!

Official Welcome Scott!!! Great to see you officially here with your sweet ride. That makes two of us not on this forum (that I am aware of) coming off modded SRT-6's. Seems there are a few owners up there in your area. I will have to pay you guys a visit. Maybe we all should go at the same time to Cars and Coffee sometime.

Sounds good....you guys can come sooner so you can help me install some of those Hawk pads!

How are the pads coming? Just got word my tires are going to be in next week.
