Hey everyone, I just bought a 2008 Ultrasonic Blue Mica IS F with 14k miles last weekend, thought I'd introduce myself. The car is phenomenal!

I've been driving a 1997 F-150 for the past ten years "paper driving" cars by reading car and driver, R&T, watchin top gear, etc - but there is nothing like the real thing!

I've been wanting a performance car for years now, but being 6'4'', its hard to find one i fit in that had it all. I was really interested in a 335i coupe, but am really glad i went with the IS F.

I'm in the DFW area in Texas.

Welcome aboard brother. I too was looking at the 335 before I bought the ISF, but there is no comparison...especially with standard options and fit and finish.
Congrats. The 335i is a neat car, capable of big power with ECU/exhaust upgrades, but I think you made a wise choice.

Very low miles.

I got your PM and will be happy to guide you on the detailing. It doesn't take much to get the paint back to factory condition.
Welcome. I am in Arlington and have a Mercury Metallic 08 and came from an IS350. My goal was to get into the F and have enjoyed it ever since.
Enjoy and maybe I'll see ya. Did you get it from Park Place in Grapvine as I noticed they had a Blue one over there a couple weeks ago.
Welcome! Glad you enjoy the car as much as we do. ;)
nah that one sold before i could get to it. it was nice though, had the white black contrast interior. I ended up finding this one on autotrader at Lexus of Tulsa. I was about to pull the trigger on a Matador Red one in Alabama with Carmax with twice the miles. Called em up, asked them if they could match the deal, and headed up to Tulsa an hour later. Long, anxious drive there, giddy, ear to ear grin all the way back!

I'm in Arlington as well. I'll keep my eyes open for a Merc Metallic F, although it shouldnt be hard to spot, they're pretty rare around here.

Welcome to the site! Love the Ultrasonic blue that would have been my next choice after the starfire pearl.

Cool, mines easy to spot, the license plate says 1 FUN F :D
Good choice with the IS-F. The 335 is nice, but in the end it's still an entry level car. An M3 would be a better comparison, but the M3 lacks the attention that the IS-F gets on the road.

I bought an Ultrasonic Blue at 14K miles as well. I find myself taking the longest routes home to drive it longer, it's so much fun.
Congrats and welcome. I'm sure you'll have a ton of fun in you F. Everyday I drive mine I'm so happy I bought it.
Two IS F's! Did you get one for your wife or do you just like to coordinate your outfits?

I had to read your signature about 4 times to make sure my 25/20 vision is still good........but, damn......you have 2 ???

That's awesome.
