My F vs Modded 335i

Once again one of my adventures of encounters on the highway..This time it was around 9:00pm at 83 South going towards downtown..It was semi heavy traffic due to lot of peeps going out to clubs..
Long story short I ran into a 335i, I was thinking that he was just a regular driver but apparently not!! This car was definitely modded..
Around gear 5 or so I was pulling really hard then around gear 6 he caught up to me and pull away at least 2 cars lengths ahead..
We were about at least hitting 135MPH..
My only draw back was that I had a passenger that weigh 345lbs..all in the front too! Overall Not bad!!
Normally 335i's, they really don't compare to the F's(I raced bunch of them before) but once modded they're even faster than E92(Current)M3's so not surprised that my F is was beaten..
But one hand I think I might of had a better shot rather increased little bit of chance if I didn't have a very heavy passenger..

What mods did that 335 have? I raced one with a "juicebox" ecu mod and pulled from a dig, 3rd gear and on is where i pulled even harder. I have a custom royal muffler exhaust and eibach springs.. which ride bouncier than stock, just not as stiff.
I believe its from Vishnu mod..I really couldn't hear too well b/c of the wind noise from traffic..

I'd say that's exactly why you lost. 345lbs is no joke and would easily cause a loss against a modded 335. If I had a passenger that weighed that much I wouldn't have even tried.

Yeah, I know..All the weight on the front..The fat man kept telling me to race, I'm thinking although I did but not with you in the car..
In any case I look it up on Vishnu mod,and I honestly even without the fat man at best I would of kept up with him but beating him, No..

I would have worded it differently. "He would have maybe kept up with me but not beat me." :p

Look at the quarter mile trap speeds for modded 335i's. The majority of them (excluding the few that run 11's) are only quicker from a launch, but at speed the IS-F shouldn't have a problem with fending them off. http://www.dragtimes.com/BMW--335i-Drag-Racing.html?resultpage=2

Interesting Chart..I have to keep it mine, also no more heavy set people in the car..Believe me, with the fat man in the car, the F weight more than 4000 lbs..
So maybe I could of had a better shot..But I can't win them all!:D
Moral of the story: Don't ever give a ride to overweights cause you'll never know what's lurking outside..... ha ha ha...
At least start with one of these on the ride as a reminder. LOL

Imagine being down about 35HP...that's about the equivalent of adding your 345lb buddy!!!

Believe me, I know..Right now it's bad enough that I don't have Joe Z Exhaust and intake which gives about additional 30 Hp to the wheels but 35 minus the other way is definite no no!!
should have put your friend in the trunk to get more rear traction! haha jk
HAHA! yea, maybe you can have a "Wide Load" sign on the back of your car that warns other drivers (and potential opponents) of your situation. That way, if you lose, they know why.

no offense to your friend or anything. but how would a man that large fit in the front seat. nevermind even getting in the car. 345 is extremely large. unless he is 7 feet tall. and even if he was 7 feet tall......he would have to turn the seat into a bed just to sit in the vehicle.

Bro, If I told you, you probably wouldn't believe it..The guy is 5'4 345 lbs..I'm not kidding..He's real fat man..I'm a 5'7 175(Weight Lifter) and this guy is a pure fat man..No joke!! All I can say is no more racing with this walking grease of a human being although he's a friend.:)
Thank God, he's getting gastric bypass this summer so he will be about 160-175 by then..
No f"n wonder you have to keep your windows opened just in case he f__ts! Lol! Not only that you have to deal with excess baggage, you also have to deal with extra ordinary turbulence! A hyundai could have raced you and you probably would have lost too!

That's dangerous. Google Charlie Weis gastric surgery.
Dangerous as it may be, I can't help but think how dangerous it is to weigh 345lb at 5'4" tall!!

This guys cholesterol must be in the quadruple digits.

Did you have to lube your door frames to squeeze him into the car?

You might consider getting adjustable coil-over shocks for the passenger side, so that the car tracks level.

I am soooo bad....sorry!

Bro, I noticed that you got a LR3 as well b/c I had a Discovery 2 back in 2002-2007 and Range Rover Super charged(For a week, before getting rid of it due to excessive gas burning) but I should of asked you for a loaner so I can take my friend for a race..
But seriously though when he gets in the car maybe I'm being physiological but the side he gets in on tips even on lower than what it is when the car is already lower..

Yeah, I just googled it..Interesting article..Sad part is some of symptoms that describes Charlie are identical as my friend..
