Got an email from the Head of Research & Product Development at injen the other day that says their intake for the IS-F will be released the second week of January. It will be interesting to see how these compare to current option. Its also nice to see other companies start to take interest in our cars.

That sounds great. The more options the better. Can't wait to see what they come up with.

Since you seem to have a business relationship with him, can you please ask if the intake carries a C.A.R.B certification? (For us folks in CA)

The K&N Typhoon does not.

The injen looks very nice, the polish look adds alot.

Only the dyno will tell....
nope no CARB certification sorry!
Looks like a slightly better heat shield than the K&N but still lacking...
does anyone have a sound clip? how does it compare to the k&n? sound wise?
Does anybody have any further information on the Injen intake? I was considering purchasing one soon. If anybody has one installed or on order, could you please provide your insights. Thanks.
I ended up going with the Joe-z and an AFE dry drop in filter, here in arizona heat soak is a major issue so the stock airbox will be best for performance in the long run. Also with the intake mod I still get a nice sound :)
i believed trackdood had purchased it on cl. we are waiting for sound clips from him and pictures.
