It was a manual. All my runs with m3's are like that though. The closest m3 to me was a DCT with intake, pulleys , and an active autowerk tune and when i was only exhaust i pulled him by 1.5 cars.

In a comparo a local mag did here, three laps between my F, an AMG C63, and an M3, we all could not believe how far off the pace the M3 was. The test driver had to do three extra laps to avoid humiliation for the M3 and even at that it was a good two secs off.
For me M3s are great sounding and not much more. I actually felt bad for the owner.
